Description

Delight in the soft and airy texture of Vanilla Cupcakes, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners.
  2. Beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fill the liners about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

You can prepare the batter a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator overnight.
