- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipped cream)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a bowl until well combined.
- Cream the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Alternately add the flour mixture and whole milk, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over the surface.
- Combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract, then pour over the cake.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the top of the cake.
- Top with fresh berries if desired and serve chilled.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour. Make a day ahead for enhanced flavor.
