- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 box Stove Top Stuffing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing mix, water, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf form, about 8 inches long and 5 inches wide.
- Transfer the formed loaf into a greased baking dish and generously spread ketchup over the top.
- Bake the meatloaf for about 1 hour, or until its internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Rest the meatloaf for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Make-ahead option available: prepare the mixture the night before and refrigerate. Consider air frying for quicker cooking.
