Description

A vibrant blend of sweet strawberries and spicy jalapeños creates a unique jam perfect for toast, meats, and gourmet cheese platters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups diced strawberries
  • 1 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1.75 oz box fruit pectin
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced strawberries and jalapeños with the pectin in a large pot. Use a potato masher to break down the strawberries.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar and stir to mix.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, bringing it to a gentle boil.
  4. Incorporate the sugar gradually, stirring until dissolved, and boil for exactly one minute.
  5. Pack the hot jam into clean pint jars using a funnel.
  6. Cool the jars completely at room temperature before sealing with lids.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to three weeks after opening. Unopened jars can be frozen for up to a year.
