A vibrant and flavorful dish that transforms humble rice into a spicy and satisfying meal, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Sauté the onion, stirring occasionally until translucent (2-3 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and mixed vegetables, cooking until tender (4-5 minutes).
  4. Scramble the eggs on one side of the pan until fluffy and golden.
  5. Combine in the rice, breaking up any clumps.
  6. Add soy sauce and chili sauce, stirring to coat the rice evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For best results, use day-old rice to avoid clumping. Customize with your favorite proteins or veggies!
