Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the egg and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Mix in the sourdough discard until fully incorporated.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
