Description

Deliciously flaky breakfast puffs filled with savory sausage, creamy eggs, and melted cheese, perfect for any morning occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Pepper Jack)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 4-inch squares.
  3. Whisk together the eggs until frothy. Stir in the crumbled sausage and shredded cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and seal the edges tightly.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can assemble the puffs a day in advance and bake them fresh in the morning. Swap the sausage for bacon or add veggies for customization.
