Description

Delicious meatballs coated in a sticky-sweet hoisin sauce, bursting with flavors of ginger and garlic. Perfect for cozy dinners or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb frozen meatballs (beef, pork, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well blended.
  2. Toss the frozen meatballs in the sauce, ensuring each one is thoroughly coated.
  3. Cook the meatballs according to package instructions—either in the oven for 15-20 minutes or on medium-high heat in a skillet for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter, garnishing with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

You can make the meatballs gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce. For an extra crunch, consider adding chopped red peppers or water chestnuts.
