Description

A delightful blend of crunchy pretzels and juicy chicken, drizzled with a creamy mustard cheddar sauce for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat with crushed pretzels.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked (165°F/75°C).
  6. Combine heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and cheddar cheese in a saucepan over low heat until smooth and creamy.
  7. Serve the chicken drizzled with the creamy sauce.
