- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat with crushed pretzels.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked (165°F/75°C).
- Combine heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and cheddar cheese in a saucepan over low heat until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the chicken drizzled with the creamy sauce.
