Description

Delicious peanut butter sandwich bars featuring layers of creamy peanut butter, rolled oats, and a rich chocolate drizzle, perfect for snacks or desserts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter and honey in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in rolled oats, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish and press down firmly.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  5. Spread the melted chocolate over the oat base evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy.

Notes

Use room temperature peanut butter for easier mixing. Line the baking dish with parchment paper for easier removal.
