- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup honey or maple syrup
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine peanut butter and honey in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in rolled oats, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish and press down firmly.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the oat base evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Cut into squares and enjoy.
Notes
Use room temperature peanut butter for easier mixing. Line the baking dish with parchment paper for easier removal.
