- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the cubed bread and sliced peaches in the baking dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread and peaches, and press down gently.
- Cover with foil and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden.
