Description
Indulgent bars combining fudgy brownie, cookie dough, and crunchy Oreos for a delightful treat everyone will love.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1 cup Oreos, chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix the brownie batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until smooth and cohesive. Pour half of this luscious batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Prepare the cookie dough layer: In another bowl, blend the cookie dough with flour, vanilla extract, and salt. It should be thick and slightly sticky. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough over the brownie layer, distributing it evenly.
- Add the Oreos: Sprinkle the chopped Oreos generously over the cookie dough, letting their crunch and flavor permeate through the layers.
- Finish with brownie batter: Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter.
- Cool and slice: Once done, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing into bars.
