Description

Indulgent bars combining fudgy brownie, cookie dough, and crunchy Oreos for a delightful treat everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 cup Oreos, chopped
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the brownie batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until smooth and cohesive. Pour half of this luscious batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  3. Prepare the cookie dough layer: In another bowl, blend the cookie dough with flour, vanilla extract, and salt. It should be thick and slightly sticky. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough over the brownie layer, distributing it evenly.
  4. Add the Oreos: Sprinkle the chopped Oreos generously over the cookie dough, letting their crunch and flavor permeate through the layers.
  5. Finish with brownie batter: Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  6. Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter.
  7. Cool and slice: Once done, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container; stay fresh at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
