Description

A delightful old-fashioned fruit salad bursting with fresh, juicy fruits that create a refreshing, uplifting experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup grapes, halved
  • 1 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1 orange, segmented
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all your fruits thoroughly to remove any impurities, then drain them well.
  2. Combine the strawberries, blueberries, bananas, grapes, pineapple, and orange segments in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the honey and lemon juice until well blended.
  4. Drizzle the honey-lemon mixture over the fruit, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Toss the salad gently, being careful not to mash the bananas.
  6. Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes at room temperature to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the salad a few hours in advance, but leave out bananas until serving to prevent browning.
