Description

A simple and delicious No-Knead Bread that is easy to make and offers a crunchy crust with a soft, airy interior.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in the warm water and mix until a shaggy, sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface and gently shape it into a ball.
  5. Flip the dough seam-side down, cover it with a floured towel, and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place your Dutch oven inside to heat.
  7. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven and place the dough inside, covering with a lid.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating herbs or spices into the dough. If you don’t have a Dutch oven, use a covered oven-safe pot or skillet.
