Description

Savory bites of sausage links wrapped in crescent roll dough, filled with creamy cheese and spicy jalapeños, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of sausage links
  • 1 package of jalapeños, sliced and seeded
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (Cheddar, pepper jack, or mozzarella)
  • Optional: bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, and sliced jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and roll it out on a clean surface.
  4. Cut the rolled dough into triangles.
  5. Place a sausage link and a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll up the dough around the sausage and filling.
  7. Place the poppers on a baking sheet, spaced evenly.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation. You can experiment with different cheeses or add herbs for varied flavors.
