Description

Ingredients

  • 2 slices hearty bread (sourdough or rustic Italian)
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • Fresh basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Slice the bread and cheese, chop the sun-dried tomatoes.
  2. Infuse the butter: Sizzle garlic in butter until fragrant (optional).
  3. Assemble the sandwich: Spread garlic-infused butter on one side of each bread slice, layer cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, and top with another slice.
  4. Cook the sandwich: Heat skillet, place sandwich, and press down lightly. Cook until golden brown.
