- 2 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- Fresh basil, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Slice the bread and cheese, chop the sun-dried tomatoes.
- Infuse the butter: Sizzle garlic in butter until fragrant (optional).
- Assemble the sandwich: Spread garlic-infused butter on one side of each bread slice, layer cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, and top with another slice.
- Cook the sandwich: Heat skillet, place sandwich, and press down lightly. Cook until golden brown.
- Flip and finish: Gently flip the sandwich and cook until cheese is melted and the bread is crisp.
