Description

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • ½ lb hot Italian sausage
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¼ cup hot honey
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set it to 475°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
  2. Roll out the dough: On a lightly floured surface, stretch and roll the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
  3. Cook the sausage: In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the hot Italian sausage until browned.
  4. Prepare the crust: Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush it lightly with olive oil.
  5. Add the toppings: Evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the dough, then layer with crumbled sausage and feta.
