Description

Crispy breaded chicken breasts drizzled with a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add honey and hot sauce; stir until combined.
  6. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the baked chicken.
  7. Serve the chicken over cooked rice.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in honey and hot sauce before breading. Customize the spice level by adjusting the hot sauce and adding cayenne pepper.
