Description

Delicious skewers featuring tender chicken and fresh pineapple glazed with a honey garlic marinade, perfect for barbecues and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lime zest, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until cohesive.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  5. Thread marinated chicken and pineapple chunks onto soaked skewers.
  6. Grill skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate chicken overnight in the fridge. You can also substitute chicken with shrimp, beef, or firm tofu.
