Description

A comforting dish featuring crispy hashbrowns enveloped in creamy goodness and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for brunch or gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the frozen hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, diced onion, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl. Stir until cohesive.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Make-ahead by assembling the night before and refrigerating. Customize with spices or vegetables as desired.
