Description

Delicious golden air-fried shrimp tacos topped with a creamy bang bang sauce and fresh toppings for a taste of sunny beachside dining.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 8 flour or corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the cleaned shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Mix together mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), sriracha, lime juice, and honey in a separate bowl to create the bang bang sauce.
  5. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble your tacos by placing shrimp, shredded cabbage, and cilantro on each tortilla, then topping with lime juice.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Store shrimp and tacos separately for up to 3 days. Reheat shrimp in the air fryer for about 5 minutes.
