- 4 slices of garlic bread
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
- Butter (for grilling)
- Optional add-ins: garlic powder, fresh parsley, seasoning blends
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
- Place two slices of garlic bread, butter-side down, onto the skillet.
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and provolone cheeses on top of the bread.
- Top with the remaining slices of garlic bread, butter-side up.
- Grill until the bottom is golden brown, then flip.
- Grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread becomes crispy.
- Remove from heat, allow to cool, then slice and serve.
Notes
For a lighter option, use olive oil instead of butter. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
