Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring aromatic garlic bread and a blend of mozzarella and provolone for a creamy, comforting sandwich experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of garlic bread
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
  • Butter (for grilling)
  • Optional add-ins: garlic powder, fresh parsley, seasoning blends

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
  3. Place two slices of garlic bread, butter-side down, onto the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and provolone cheeses on top of the bread.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of garlic bread, butter-side up.
  6. Grill until the bottom is golden brown, then flip.
  7. Grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread becomes crispy.
  8. Remove from heat, allow to cool, then slice and serve.

Notes

For a lighter option, use olive oil instead of butter. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
