Description

Delightful bite-sized churro treats with a crispy exterior and soft interior, coated in cinnamon sugar, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Chocolate or caramel sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Combine water, butter, sugar, and salt in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
  2. Mix in the flour until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cool the dough for about 5 minutes, then incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
  5. Pipe the dough into the hot oil, frying small batches at a time.
  6. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Serve with chocolate or caramel sauce for dipping.

Notes
