Description

Indulge in rich Double Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookies featuring a gooey center of salted caramel and a crunchy exterior.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and light, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually combine the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but the centers appear slightly underbaked.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
