Description
A classic Cuban sandwich filled with succulent roast pork, sliced ham, gooey Swiss cheese, and zesty dill pickles, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- Cuban Bread
- Roast Pork
- Sliced Ham
- Swiss Cheese
- Dill Pickles
- Yellow Mustard
- Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle or panini press to medium-high heat.
- Slice the Cuban bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread yellow mustard on the inside of both halves of bread.
- Layer with love: place roast pork, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles on the bottom half.
- Press down with the top half of the bread.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich generously.
- Place the sandwich on the griddle and press down lightly.
- Grill for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Make the roast pork a day in advance for enhanced flavor. Customize with avocados or jalapeños for extra taste.
