Description

A classic Cuban sandwich filled with succulent roast pork, sliced ham, gooey Swiss cheese, and zesty dill pickles, grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Cuban Bread
  • Roast Pork
  • Sliced Ham
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Dill Pickles
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle or panini press to medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the Cuban bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread yellow mustard on the inside of both halves of bread.
  4. Layer with love: place roast pork, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles on the bottom half.
  5. Press down with the top half of the bread.
  6. Butter the outside of the sandwich generously.
  7. Place the sandwich on the griddle and press down lightly.
  8. Grill for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  9. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Make the roast pork a day in advance for enhanced flavor. Customize with avocados or jalapeños for extra taste.
