Description

A light and refreshing pie that highlights the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries without the heaviness of a crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced strawberries and sugar in a large bowl; let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Fold the strawberry mixture into the batter until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until set and lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
