Description

A comforting and creamy pasta dish with tender beef, rich sauce, and cheesy goodness, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., parsley or basil)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Brown the ground beef in the skillet for 6-8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Incorporate the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Create the sauce by stirring in the heavy cream and cheese until smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef, or use plant-based meat for a vegetarian option.
