Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a medium bowl: whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour mixture with the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  5. Prepare the cream cheese filling by creaming together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Shape your cookies by flattening a piece of dough, placing a teaspoon of filling in the center, and rolling it into a ball.
  7. Coat each dough ball in cinnamon sugar.
