Description

A delightful bowl featuring tender steak, juicy shrimp, vibrant vegetables, and gooey cheese, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (any color)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes.
  4. Sauté the shrimp, bell pepper, and onion in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Slice the steak thinly against the grain and return it to the skillet.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover, and let it melt for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve warm over rice or quinoa, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
