Description

A delightful combination of spicy jalapeños, creamy filling, and flaky crescent dough, these poppers are perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 8 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup canned chili
  • 1 package lil smokies
  • 1.5 tablespoons BBQ seasoning
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Blend the cream cheese, colby jack, chili, lil smokies, and BBQ seasoning in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half.
  5. Unroll the crescent dough and cut into strips to wrap around each jalapeño half.
  6. Brush with melted butter.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
