Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the shredded cheese and diced ham, if using.
- Gradually add the milk, mixing just until the dough comes together.
