Description

A delightful brunch sandwich featuring layers of smoky ham, tender turkey, and creamy melted cheese, finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and served with jam.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough or white)
  • 4 slices of sliced ham
  • 4 slices of sliced turkey
  • 4 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry or strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Assemble the sandwich with two slices of bread, buttered side down, layering ham, turkey, and cheese.
  4. Cook in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
  5. Remove the sandwich from the skillet and dust with powdered sugar.
