- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth.
- Roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface, pinching seams to create a single sheet.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Distribute the fresh blueberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side to create a log. Slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tip: Prepare the cream cheese mixture a night before and refrigerate. Air fryer option available at 320°F (160°C) for 10-15 mins.
