Description

Delightful rolls filled with cream cheese and fresh blueberries, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface, pinching seams to create a single sheet.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Distribute the fresh blueberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from the long side to create a log. Slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tip: Prepare the cream cheese mixture a night before and refrigerate. Air fryer option available at 320°F (160°C) for 10-15 mins.
