Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Cut the pastry into 4×4-inch squares.
- Create the filling by gently combining blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
- Assemble the turnovers by placing a generous spoonful of the blackberry mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold each square into a triangle and press the edges together to seal.
- Apply the egg wash generously on top of the turnovers.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
