Description

A delightful and easy dessert that captures the essence of summer with layers of bananas, strawberries, and pineapple topped with a crunchy cake mix.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or whipped topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced bananas, drained pineapple, and strawberries in a large bowl, mixing gently.
  3. Spread the fruit mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit without mixing.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

You can prepare this cake a day in advance without the whipped topping. Add the topping right before serving.
