- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bacon until crispy and remove, leaving the drippings in the pot.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and brown in the bacon drippings for 5-7 minutes per side.
- Add ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pot, scraping up browned bits.
- Mix in the sour cream, allowing the chicken to simmer until cooked through (165°F) for about 10-15 minutes.
- Finish by crumbling the reserved bacon on top and garnishing with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter twist, replace sour cream with Greek yogurt. Customize with sautéed vegetables or cheese.
