Description

Strawberry Brownies with a refreshing lemon glaze, combining rich chocolate flavors with fruity sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, mix cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. While the brownies are baking, prepare the lemon glaze by mixing powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a bowl.
  10. Once the brownies are done, let them cool before drizzling the lemon glaze on top.
