Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 3 large eggs (for brownie mix)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for brownie mix)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (for swirls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the brownie mix, 3 eggs, and 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the brownie mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth in another bowl.
  5. Add the additional egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base, ensuring even coverage.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer.
  8. Swirl the brownie batter and cheesecake mixture together for a marbled effect.
  9. Drizzle melted 1/4 cup peanut butter on top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  11. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the brownie base a day in advance and refrigerate, adding the cheesecake layer to bake when ready.
