Description

Delicious salmon fillets coated with a crispy Parmesan and basil topping, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets of salmon (6 oz each)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using) until mixed well.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, drizzle olive oil on each fillet, and rub it in evenly.
  4. Press the Parmesan and basil mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the fillets skin-side down inside, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Using a fish spatula, carefully remove the salmon and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry for a crispier crust. Can be made in advance by prepping the topping.
