Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
- Whisk eggs in another bowl until light and frothy. Add buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla, mixing until blended.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve.
