- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk to create a glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm waffle donuts before serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overmix the batter for fluffy donuts.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra flavor.
- These can be served warm or at room temperature.
