Description

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Mix evenly and press into the bottom of your trifle dish.
  2. Whip the cream: In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Beat the cream cheese: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, then incorporate key lime juice, zest, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the filling: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, one third at a time.
  5. Layer your trifle: Spread half of the lime filling over the crust, sprinkle with more crumbs, and repeat with the remaining filling. Top with extra crumbs and lime zest.
  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
