Description

A unique pizza that combines the tanginess of dill pickles with a rich garlic cream sauce, smoky bacon, and layered cheeses for a delicious and fun dining experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup garlic cream sauce (or the pizza sauce of your choice)
  • Pizza crust/dough (can be store-bought)
  • ⅓ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ⅔ cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup thinly sliced dill pickles
  • 1 cup chopped bacon (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Spread the garlic cream sauce evenly across the base.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese atop the sauce.
  5. Layer thinly sliced dill pickles over the cheese and add chopped bacon if desired.
  6. Bake for about 7 minutes, then switch to the top rack and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh dill before serving.

Notes

For a cut above, serve with ranch dressing or grate more cheese on top. You can also customize with extra toppings like vegetables or chickpeas.
