- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for air frying
Instructions
- Prep the avocados: Cut in half, remove the pit, and slice into fry-sized pieces (about ½ inch thick).
- Mix the coating: In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the fries: Dip each avocado fry into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the air fryer basket: Spray lightly to prevent sticking and arrange fries in a single layer.
- Lightly spray tops: Give a light spritz of cooking spray on top of the fries.
- Air fry: Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, checking halfway through.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
