- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper, then stir until smooth.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares, about 4 inches each.
- Place a spoonful of the creamy chicken mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to create a pillow shape and seal the edges using a fork.
- Arrange the pillows on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. Can be made vegetarian with sautéed mushrooms and spinach.
