Description

A quick and easy recipe for creamy bacon carbonara that can be made in under 30 minutes, perfect for a delicious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 150g bacon, diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with bacon and garlic.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and quickly pour the egg mixture over the spaghetti, tossing to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Make sure to remove the skillet from heat before adding the egg mixture to prevent scrambling.
  • You can substitute bacon with pancetta for a different flavor.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
