Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cranberries and orange zest, gently folding them into the flour mixture.
- Mix wet ingredients in another bowl: whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Knead the dough briefly on a floured surface, shaping it into a circle about 1 inch thick.
- Cut the circle into wedges, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
