A delicious and unique cheese ball that combines the flavors of cowboy caviar and jalapeño poppers, perfect for parties and gatherings.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup corn, drained
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips for coating
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Add the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and chili powder. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in crushed tortilla chips until fully coated.
- Serve with additional tortilla chips or vegetable sticks for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier version, use more jalapeños or add diced serrano peppers.
- This cheese ball can be made a day in advance for convenience.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
