- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (for the sauce)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, parsley, onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the Koftas: Shape the mixture into small oval-shaped koftas and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Cook the Koftas: Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook the koftas for about 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare the Garlic Yogurt Sauce: In a bowl, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.
- Serve: Enjoy the koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce, alongside rice, flatbread, or salad.
Notes
Allow the kofta mixture to rest for about 15 minutes before forming for better texture. You can prepare the mixture a day in advance.
