Description

These Chewy Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bars are a delightful and nutritious way to start your day, packed with the flavors of fresh apples and warm cinnamon.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, diced apples, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. If using, fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruits.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
